Arsenal is reportedly preparing to make a formal bid to acquire Newcastle United’s forward Alexander Isak, according to Caught Offside. However, with a game in hand, the Gunners have an opportunity to narrow the gap to just five points if they secure a victory in their extra fixture.

The Merseyside club faces a challenging schedule ahead, with a crucial clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium followed by a tough match against Newcastle United.
