A report suggests Arsenal are looking into a potential move for Marc Guehi.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is expected to be active in the upcoming summer transfer window as he looks to strengthen his squad.

After a quiet January window, Arsenal did not make any additions to their team, despite widespread expectations that they would sign a new striker to bolster their attacking options.

Since they failed to reinforce the squad during the winter, their focus has now shifted to making key signings in the summer.

One of their top priorities in attack is RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, who has emerged as their primary target. Meanwhile, in midfield, Arsenal are set to compete with Manchester United for the signatures of Sunderland’s young talents, Jobe Bellingham and Chris Rigg.

Additionally, Arteta is keen to improve the team’s defensive depth. According to Fichajes, Arsenal are targeting Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guehi. The club wants to bring in defensive reinforcements as backup for their first-choice pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.

Guehi, who has been playing in the Premier League for four seasons, has gained significant experience at the top level. He was a key player for England in Euro 2024 and stood out as one of their best performers during the tournament.

However, if he joins Arsenal, he may have to settle for a rotational role, given the importance of Saliba and Gabriel in Arteta’s starting lineup.

The race to sign Guehi is expected to be competitive, with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United also expressing interest in securing the defender’s services.

Crystal Palace anticipates strong competition for the England international, making his transfer one of the more closely watched moves in the summer window.
