Two Barcelona players are reportedly hoping for Dani Olmo’s unavailability for registration, which could facilitate their departure from the club in January on free transfers. According to “El Nacional,” one of these players is Fermin Lopez, who impressed under Xavi Hernandez last season. Though he started the current campaign as a substitute, Lopez worked his way into the starting lineup, earning a call-up to the Spanish national team for the European Championship and the Olympic Games. His contributions were vital to Spain’s gold medal win at the Olympics.
However, the arrival of Dani Olmo relegated Lopez to a secondary role, significantly diminishing his influence on the team. While several prominent clubs have expressed interest in Lopez, Barcelona appears determined to retain him unless Dani Olmo departs.
